The 2019 GFA presidential election which is underway at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Accra has taken an unexpected turn as the election goes into a runoff.
Kurt Okraku of Dreams FC polled 44 and George Afriyie former vice president had 40 votes.
Nana Yaw Amponsah garnered 27 whilst Fred Pappoe polled 6 votes.
Delegates at the Elective Congress are preparing for the endurance contest ahead as the two candidates wth the highest votes will go for a runoff.
Meanwhile, Amanda Clinton and George Ankomah Mensah, who did not get any vote, won’t be part of the candidates for the runoff.
