Kofi Akpaloo rejects accusations of swapping ballot position with NPP

Presidential Candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo has strongly denied allegations of swapping his position with the New Patriotic Party during the presidential balloting by the Electoral Commission.

According to him, he picked number 8 during the balloting but was not happy with it because of his previous position on the ballot paper during 2020 Elections.

“During 2020 elections draw, I picked number 9 which was not favourable to me so I wasn’t happy picking 8 this time around because it’s not a good number when it comes to elections”.

I was very excited when the Electoral Commission decided to do the balloting again and I picked number 5, he added.

He also said the idea of swapping ballot with the NPP will not add any value to his personality and for that matter the public should disregard that claim.

He indicated that should he have picked number one during the balloting, he would never exchange it with any political party.
