Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe, Director for Corporate Affairs and Media Relations at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (GI-KACE), has been adjudged the ‘Most Outstanding Woman in Communication Leadership’ at the 2022 National Communications Awards.

The 4th edition of the National Communications Awards which was organized by RAD Communications Limited was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel over the weekend under the theme: “The Digitalized Economy: Innovation for National Development”.

Kobi Hemaa’s award was in recognition of her impactful leadership as a Communication Professional within her current and previous organizations that bring change and development to those organisations.

Speaking about the award, Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe, stated she was honoured to be recognised for her immersed contribution to her organization as a woman leader in the Communication space.

“I am happy that my work as a communications professional has been recognised and rewarded. I will continue to give off my best where ever I find myself. As the adage goes ‘hard work pays’ and in this case, hard work has really paid off,” Kobi Hemaa said.

Earlier this year, Kobi Hemaa Osisiadan-Bekoe joined GI-KACE as the first female Director for Corporate Affairs and Media Relations. Prior to joining GI-KACE, she had worked in several organizations like Ghana Post, TV Africa and HomeBase TV among others.
