Legon Cities are currently stranded in Kumasi as their match day 11 fixture against King Faisal is in doubt due to the closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium was closed on Monday by authorities for renovation works to begin ahead of the 6th March anniversary celebration.
Legon Cities have arrived in Kumasi for the Ghana Premier League game on Wednesday 19 February but are currently waiting for information on where the game will be played due to the closure of the stadium.
The temporal closure of the stadium means King Faisal and Asante Kotoko will have to relocate to other venues for the Ghana Premier League games.
Communication Director for Legon Cities, Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang told Happy Sports that the team is currently waiting for information from the Ghana Football Association and King Faisal on the venue for the game to be played.
