“Ever since Josephine returned home, she has been unable to speak. I believe it is because she is suffering from a trauma. She only writes if she wants to say something,” Akosua revealed.
According to Akosua, Josephine was released by her kidnappers who reportedly claim she was not fit to be used for their purposes. “They released her because they couldn’t use her for the intended purpose. After her release, it took a few days for her to reach civility. The first people she encountered thought she was mad but upon interrogations, she wrote all that happened to her.”
Giving the account on the Happy Morning Show hosted by Samuel Eshun, and aired on Happy98.9FM and e.TV Ghana, Akosua Gyabaa noted the Ghana Police Service is still carrying out investigations into the matter and hope to resolve it soon.
