Chief Executive Officer for AshantiGold, Frederick Acheampong has explained that the Ghana Football Association revoked the license of Turkish coach Kassim Gokydiz due to the delay of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) in confirming his coaching license.
The GFA had written to the Turkish FA to confirm the coaching license of the AshantiGold coach.
The Turkish FA did not respond to the FA within the speculated time given which led to his license being revoked, rendering him unqualified to coach the Ghanaian side.

“The GFA sent a request to the Turkish FA to authenticate the license of the coach and didn’t get any response”, he told Happy FM.
“So when the FA revoked his license that was where the coach quickly acted and then a response was sent by the Turkish FA to the GFA”.
Acheampong further said the coach is unable to perform his duties at the moment for AshantiGold due to his license issue.
“For now we have to abide by the ruling of the FA until his license has been restored”.
Meanwhile, the Turkish Football Federation has confirmed Kassim Gokydiz as a qualified UEFA License A coach.
