President Nana Akufo-Addo has tested negative for the coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic.
This was disclosed by his physician Dr. Patrina Techi-Ankrah during the government update to the nation on heightened enforcement of Stay at Home orders this morning at the Information Ministry.

She revealed that the President, family members and all staff close to the President were all tested before the President’s birthday.
“I am happy to announce that, a day before the President’s birthday, him, the First Lady, his daughters and all the staff of his household all tested and the results all came negative.”

Led by Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Information Minister, spoke about what the government is doing for the homeless and vulnerable during the 14-day lockdown period.
