The Confederation Africa Football (CAF) has striped Cameroon of hosting the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Officials made the decision after an Extraordinary Executive Committee meeting in Accra Friday on Accra.
According to reports, the meeting lasted more than 10 hours.
CAF says it is because of delays in the progress of Cameroon’s preparation for the tournament, due to start in June.
President Ahmad Ahmad says it will work to “determine a new organising country by the end of the year”.
