Crystal Palace Forward, Jordan Ayew has been voted the Player of the Month for October.

The Black Stars striker had a good month with Palace, scoring two goals against West Ham and Arsenal in the Premier League in which they recorded a draw and win in those two games.

“It’s a pleasure, obviously,” Ayew told the club’s website after winning the award.

“I work really hard and I have the support from the players, from the staff, from the football club and from the fans. Everything’s good.

“I’ll just keep on working and never stop working. It gives me more hunger for more hard work and to get to where the club wants to get to. That is a positive thing and without the players I wouldn’t win this award so I have to thank everyone and thank the players especially”.

Jordan has been one of the outstanding players for Palace this season.

He has scored four goals in nine matches for the London based club in the Premier League this season.

Jordan will lead the attack of the Black Stars in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa and Sao Tome.
