John Dramani Mahama, Former President and opposition leader of the NDC, is expected to engage the public in a Facebook Live session, scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 9.00 am.
This comes on the heels of his recent criticisms of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia regarding their handling of the economy and governance.
Mahama has been vocal in his condemnation of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, accusing them of incompetence in managing the economy and alleging that the Ghana Bar Association has been awashed with NPP sympathizers.
The former president asserted that these actions by the government have significantly damaged Ghana’s democratic reputation, causing it to reach an unprecedented low in the history of the 4th Republic.
These criticisms from the former President have not gone unnoticed and he have underscored the critical importance of the 2024 election in restoring Ghana’s democratic reputation and holding the current administration accountable for alleged corruption and economic challenges.
Mahama is expected to delve deeper into his criticisms of the government’s performance, outline his vision for Ghana’s future, and field questions from the public. This event will be accessible on all of his social media platforms
