President Elect, John Dramani Mahama has reiterated that his administration will not cancel the free Senior High School policy introduced by the NPP government.
According to him, his administration will continue the free SHS policy as it has been.
Speaking on Voice of America, John Mahama stated that it is the NPP who made a section of the Ghanaians believe that the next NDC administration will cancel the free SHS policy during their campaign towards the election. He described that as a political gimmick.
He emphasized that the free SHS policy has come to stay and his administration is not going to cancel it and it would be maintained.
However, he is going to work with stakeholders in the education sector to review the policy for its efficiency.
