Jamestown youth celebrate new fishing harbour as a solution to unemployment

The youth and residents of Jamestown have expressed immense gratitude to the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for completing the ultra-modern fishing harbour in their community. Royals and dignitaries of the Ga community, along with high-profile members of the New Patriotic Party, are making their way to the harbour, which will soon be commissioned by President Akufo-Addo.

Youth advocate in the Odododiodio Constituency, Malik Odenkey Abbey, in an interview with happyghana.com, expressed his gratitude to the government, particularly President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for fulfilling his 2016 campaign promise. He explained that the fishing harbour is a strategic and beneficial project that will provide employment for many young people. “As a Ga community, the fishing harbour is something we can work efficiently in. Many of the youth here are usually at home because there are no jobs, but this project will change the status quo,” he said.
