JA Ghana and AASU launch shadow job program for university students

JA Ghana has launched the job shadow program to help students gain practical experience in the field.

The job shadow program is a collaborative partnership between JA Ghana, PMI Africa and the All-Africa Students Union (AASU) to prepare students for the job market.

The program which was launched on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the SB Incubator will run from April to December with companies in Accra.

The job shadow program will help the university students to envisage their lives as professionals, so they can make informed decisions about their career paths.

The program is opened to all tertiary students or new graduates within the Greater Accra Region.

However, university students outside Accra and want to take part in the program can join for virtual shadows.
