
The Ministry of the Interior has dispelled rumors claiming that Friday, November 8, 2024, is a public holiday.
In a statement, the ministry clarified: “The general public is hereby informed that Friday, November 8, 2024, is NOT a public holiday.”
Although the 2024 National Farmers’ Day celebration will take place on Friday, November 8, the ministry emphasized that this date is not a public holiday.
The ministry in a statement confirmed that Friday, December 6, 2024, remains the designated Farmers’ Day public holiday and will be observed nationwide.
“Friday, December 6, 2024, which marks Farmers’ Day, remains a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country,” the ministry reiterated.
