Lionel Messi’s much anticipated debut on Friday has been declared as sold out by Inter Miami at the DRV PNK Stadium.
In their opening League Cup match, Miami will take on Cruz Azul of the Liga MX in Fort Lauderdale, where Messi is anticipated to make his club debut.
Despite some rumors regarding Messi’s fitness for the game, ticket prices soared as soon as he officially switched from Paris Saint-Germain to Inter Miami.

Fans have been anticipating his visit for weeks, and they can’t wait to see the Argentine sensation in action.
Tickets for the event have seen a significant increase in price compared to months prior to Messi’s transfer to South Florida. Scalpers have been offering exorbitant prices, with some tickets being sold for as much as $110,000.
Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami comes on a two-year deal, following his departure from PSG. The agreement with the club also includes an option for part-ownership and a share of revenue from new subscribers to Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass streaming service.
