Independent parliamentary candidate bemoans lack of development in Sunyani

Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Sunyani East constituency of the Bono region, Ransford Antwi has bemoaned the slow pace of development in Sunyani.

He stated that, Sunyani has deteriorated in terms of development, despite being the capital town for the Bono region.

Ransford Antwi expressed disappointment in government for failing to construct motorable roads for the city despite declaring year of roads since 2020.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. Antwi said, “The people of Sunyani have voted for the NPP since 1992 but cannot point at any major developmental projects undertaken by the elephant party”, he stressed.

Mr. Antwi noted that the city deserves a befitting Sports Stadium, children’s park, library among others.
