Ghana Olympic Committee president Ben Nunoo Mensah says he is yet to decide on contesting for the presidency next year.
The GOC will hold Congress in March next year to elect new executives before heading to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
According to Ben Nunoo Mensah, elections should have been held after the Olympics Games to ensure athletes were given the needed preparations ahead of the game.
Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports on Happy FM, the GOC president said,
“I have to weigh if getting in Elections could disrupt our preparations so I will take about it. I have decisions to consider, the people, my family and others.
“My focus now is not on the elections but towards the preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games”, he concluded.
