Staunch supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Christopher Damenya has intimated his resolve to serve Kotoko in every capacity when he is called upon.
Damenya, who promised Kotoko Ghc50,000 if they beat Hearts of Oak last season in Accra and later delivered on his promise when they won 1-0, has made another stunning gesture by purchasing Ollenu Ashitey for the Porcupine family.
The price of the ex-Hearts of Oak play-maker is rumoured to be around Ghc40,000 and Christopher Damenya is believed to have paid it off for Kotoko.
The philanthropist and businessman is keen on seeing Asante Kotoko regaining its lost stature as a fierce force on the African continent.
