Black Stars striker, Kwame Poku has confirmed his return to the Ghana Premier League after re-joining giants Asante Kotoko.
Kwame Poku ‘Bayie’ who scored 8 goals in the first round of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season has returned 3 years after leaving to sign for USM Alger in Algeria.
Speaking to the club’s media outflet after his return, Kwame Poku promised to give his all to help the club win more trophies.
“It’s a great feeling to be back at Kotoko. This club has always felt like home to me, and I’m eager to contribute to the team’s success.”
“The support from the fans has been incredible, even during my time away, and I’m ready to give everything on the pitch to make them proud,” Opoku stated.
Meanwhile, Kwame Poku is expected to feature in the Ghana Premier League Super Clash between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
