I'll go to CAS if… -Nana Yaw Asamoah

Owner and bank-roller of Newly-qualified  Division One club, Phar Rangers FC, Nana Yaw Asamoah has asserted that he will go to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) if the Disciplinary Committee of the Eastern Region Football Association rule against him in a protest filed against him by Unique FC.
Unique FC have filed a protest seeking that they be declared winners in their Division One play-off against Phar Rangers which they lost on penalties because they hold that Daniel Odei of Phar Rangers was ineligible to play in that game because he had been sent off in the first was which ended abruptly.
Nana Yaw Asamoah, who is a sports lawyer, however sees that it will be unacceptable should the ruling go against him since all laws back him hence any misruling will see him proceeding to CAS for proper redress because even though Daniel Odei was red-carded in the first game which ended abruptly, the rules allow him to be used in the next game since Phar Rangers weren’t guilty of bringing the game to an abrupt end.
” Almost everything has gone against us from day one but our boys have fought on to qualify to Division One against all odds. This protest from Unique FC lacks merits If article 18.4 is to be considered in this instant case and the Koforidua match is to be treated as a subsequent match, then article 19.3 overrules 18.4 in that, Daniel Odei is considered to have served the suspension as per the Disciplinary Committee ruling which did not find Phar Rangers guilty of having caused the abrupt end of the Oda match. So if 18.4 says Odei should serve a suspension (assuming without admitting that the 8th January match is a subsequent match), then as per 19.3, he served the suspension and was qualified to play in the 8th match.” Nana Yaw told Happy FM.
