If you can lift weight for an hour straight, then there’s something wrong- Sports Physician hints

Dr. Prince Pambo, a Medical Practitioner and Sports Physician, has asserted that anyone who goes to the gym specifically for bodybuilding and spends a full hour or even more, is not doing something right.

He shared in an interview with host, Nana Yaw Odame on eTV Ghana’s Men’s Lounge that, per his knowledge, it is only normal that one begins to burn out after about 45minutes of serious and dedicated weightlifting.

The sports physician said, “Anybody who goes into the gym doing bodybuilding, and stays in the gym for more than one hour, I feel you’re not doing something right”.

“If you’re really going to the gym, lifting the right weights, and in between weights, you’re not WhatsApping,taking selfies or making phone calls, and you really dedicate that time to lifting weights, by the time you’re done with 45minutes, you should be burning out”, he added.

Dr. Pambo assured that he has experimented this, and only thought it best to let people know.
