National Organizer Aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Henry Osei Akoto has promised to increase turnout of voters who favor the party.
The National Organizer aspirant who has travelled the length and breadth of Ghana, is confident he will address issues bothering the various regions regarded as the party’s stronghold and revive their spirit to vote for the party.
“I am coming to revive the voter spirit of the NDC. I’m going to move to the Volta Region and that’s going to be my base of operations. I will revive the voter spirit of the party,” he told Don Kwabena Prah in an interview on Happy98.9FM’s ‘EpaHoa Daben’ political talk show.
To him, all factions and regional strongholds of the party will be integrated into one huge whole, fostering unity and cohesion in the party.
“I’ve been in the Eastern Region and it is said the party has ignored them, but vote me into power and I’d make sure you’re all included and not forgotten. We will resolve all issues in the Eastern Region and make it better.
To our comrades in the Northern Region, I will consolidate our votes there and make sure no one takes advantage of us and takes our strongholds from us.
If we are united in the Northern Region, I doubt the opposition can ever take it from us,” he stated.
He promised to engage all regions and see to it promises and solutions are tailored to their challenges.
The 10th National Delegates Congress of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will witness a total of 8,964 delegates from across the country.
