The newly elected Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), John Ansah has stated that his loyalty lies with the clubs and not the Ghana Football Association.
John Ansah on Thursday, January 23, 2025, was elected the new GHALCA Chairman with a landslide victory of 95 votes over Isaac Wilberforce Koomson who was only able to secure 35 of the total votes cast.
Speaking in an interview with Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports, John Ansah assured the public and the clubs that his friendship with GFA boss Kurt Okraku won’t prevent him from doing his job.
John Ansah stated that he is not going to be a puppet of the Ghana Football Assocaition and will speak up if things are not going well.
“Kurt Okraku is my friend but i won’t hesitate to criticize if things are not going well. I’m not going to be a puppet of GFA president Kurt Okraku,” John Ansah said on Happy FM.
