The Chairman of the National Chapters Committee (NCC) of Hearts of Oak, Elvis Herman Hesse Jnr revealed that, he has received lots of complaints on gate fees charged during game weeks.
He noted that supporters of the club has made several complaints, especially about the gate fees charged for their final home game against Liberty Professionals on Sunday, 11th July at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to the supporters chief, lots of the fans are lamenting about the sudden spike of ticket prices by management of the club.
Speaking on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM, he said “I have received a lot of calls, messages and some social media posts from our supporters who are all complaining about the ticket prices for our game against Liberty. I am trying to contact the management of the club to find out why they have decided to increase the price and find an amicable way of solving it.”
“I am sure management will have a good reason and explanation as to why they took this decision. As the chairman as the NCC, I will meet them and try to find ways to satisfy both parties,” he added.
Management of the club took to their social media pages to announce the ticket prices for the ongoing Ghana premier league match day 33.
The announcement generated a lot of backlash from the fans who called on management to reduce the prices to enable purchase tickets for the last home game of the season.
Popular stand and Center line for the game will go for GHC40 and GHC50 respectively ,whilst the lower and upper VIP goes for GHC100 and GHC150 as well.
