Veteran Ghanaian Richard Akwasi Siaw Akrofi, who is known in the music industry as Ex-Doe has entreated his fellow colleagues in the industry to desist from smoking marijuana.
“I don’t even do bottles, mine is tots, even if i want to take in tea, I have to drink alcohol, I take about eight tots in two`s, so by the close of day I would have consumed not less than eight tots” he said.
He made this revelation to Kasapa Fm on the Aben Waha show on Tuesday 5th June 2018.
According to him, he was very much into alcohol and marijuana. He could drink up to eight tots of alcohol within a day and top it up with three huge rolls of “wee”.
After recounting his own experience and reminiscing the effect of the usage of the drug, he said he had no choice but to stop its usage as it posed danger to his health and career as a musician.
“I used to smoke wee but I have stopped, it was all the work of the devil but I give God the glory for helping me put an end to the act” he told host Gatusso.
He, by indulging in the act, suffered a number of setbacks, because the practice became very addictive to the extent that, before he attends any major interview, he had to smoke heavily in order to have confidence and boldness during the interview.
