The Axurre midfielder who missed the qualifiers because of an injury said it is never easy for a player to miss such a crucial game but he knows the team is ready for the task ahead.
“I have full confidence in my teammates to get the job done. I know this team is ready to fight, and I’ll be supporting them every step of the way,” Elisha Owusu wrote on his social media platform.
The Black Stars are currently leading their group in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with 9 points after winning three and losing one in the opening four games.
