Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad, says it was a risk joining King Faisal in the second transfer window of the Ghana Premier League.
The youngster joined the ‘Insha Allah’ boys on loan in search of regular playtime.
According to Danlad, joining King Faisal was risk considering their level on the league table.
He indicated that there were several offers from clubs in the top half of the table such as Aduana Stars and Karela United but he was convinced by his manager to go help King Faisal.

“Before I was about to go on loan there were many clubs that wanted my services Aduana Stars, Karela United, and many others. But my manager, a former player of King Faisal spoke to me that I should go to the club and take the risk with the players over there”, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.
“It was a difficult situation over there but when we went there God has been good and we survived relegation”.
Danlad stated a permanent move to King Faisal will be decided by his parent club Asante Kotoko and his managers.
“On paper, I have to go back to Asante Kotoko. It was a half-season loan spell and if King Faisal is interested they have to write to the club”.
“I am a footballer and if they come on board my management team will decide”.
