The Deputy National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Akamba has sarcastically pledged his support for the call by the Inspector -General of Police (IGP) for prayers to be said for the police service.
According to him, it only prayers that can save the service under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
‘The state of insecurity in the country is alarming hence the need for prayers so i side with the IGP’s call he noted.
Yes… prayers must be said for the personnel of the service under the New Patriotic Party’s administration’ he stressed.
He said this a clear indication that leadership has failed and cease to exist under Nana Addo in only two years.
Mr. Akamba made the pledge when he appeared as a panelist on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’, socio-political show hosted by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra- based Happy FM.
I wish the president will come to the realization that the insecurity under his administration is alarming he said.
‘Now we have armed robbers emboldened and committing broad day robberies and daring the police as well’ he said.
I think the police needs prayers like the IGP has said, this clearly shows that leadership in the country has failed and prayers have come to the rescue.
