President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that he prefers drones flying to give medical attention to the poor Ghanaians in the hinter lands over a contentious guinea fowl project.
According to Nana Addo, he will on any day and time choose the controversial drone deal over guinea fowls flying to Burkina Faso unreasonably.
It can be recalled that Former President John Dramani Mahama said he was baffled that the NPP government would prioritise flying blood with drones in the face of the numerous challenges confronting the health sector.
But in his annual meet the press series at the Jubilee House in Accra on Wednesday, President Akufo-Addo responded to the naysayers, indirectly mocking the position of his predecessor.
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) introduced the deal to help deliver blood and essential medicines across the country, especially to rural communities and was approved by parliament on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, after three failed attempts.
