The Accra Central Magistrate Court has deferred the committal proceedings of two persons being held over the murder of Joseph Boakye Danquah to February 6, 2019 on the instance of the accused persons to engage the services of lawyers.
The two Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso were earlier urged to contact legal services prior to today, but that did not happened.
In court today, when the Attorney General’s Department and the court were set for the proceedings, the accused person prayed that they need legal persons to represent them.
Daily Heritage Court correspondent Muntalla Inusah who was in court reported that, Daniel Asiedu, the self- confessed killer of the late MP said he need a lawyer from the International Criminal Court.
He prayed the court to do everything possible to assist him, get a lawyer from ICC since the magnitude of the case is “not small.”
More to to come…
