Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Kurt Okraku has revealed that he does not manage Black Stars Coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor and any other coach has been speculated in the media.
Charles Kwabla Akonnor formerly worked with Dreams FC as head coach at a time Kurt Okraku was Executive Director of the club.
There has been talks in the media that Kurt Okraku handed the Black Stars job to Charles Akonnor because he works under his agency including Karim Zito who has been appointed as Ghana U-20 coach.
Kurt Okraku in a response to a question posed at him, at the Meet The Press Meeting refuted those reports and said, “I don’t manage Charles Akonnor”.
“I don’t manage any coach in Ghana. I’ve had relationships with a lot of people. He worked at Dreams FC just as he worked at Kotoko, Hearts and AshantiGold”, he indicated.
