I don’t live my life to win an award – Kojo Antwi

Ghanaian music legend Kojo Antwi has said he has no problem with not winning an award.

Speaking on ‘The Late Nite Celebrity Show’ with Foster Romanus on eTVGhana, Kojo Antwi said; “I do not live my life by producing songs to win an award. If I win it is a blessing but if I stand in-front of the crowd and two people clap for me for a song that is an award”, he said.

“I want to be creative. I want my grandchildren to come and be proud of songs that you said you started listening to at age 12”, Kojo told Foster Romanus.

Kojo Antwi has been dubbed “Mr Music Man” with a successful musical career spanning over two decades.

His music has not been successfully categorised because he has a blend of Highlife, Reggae, Soul, RnB and Carribean lovers rock.

Kojo Antwi has been billed ahead of the African Legends Night slated for 28th September, 2019, alongside with Awilo Longomba, 2Baba and Ofori Amponsah.
