I choose to sing in local dialects to reach a bigger audience- Gospel musician

Gospel musician Wegeiwor has disclosed that she sings in different local dialects in order for other people to understand.

Speaking to Isaac Addae on Happy98.9fm. 9fm she said “when you read the book of Revelations a time is coming where God says that every people, nation and tribe regardless of the language we speak, we will speak to the Glory of God we’d say Haleluyah in all the languages also, I lived in Nima sometime back and realised that most of the singing, preaching and church activities were done in Hausa. I also enjoyed singing in the language therefore I sing songs for my people to understand and enjoy the lyrics. I sing in Hausa, Dagbani, Twi and Ga.”

Wegeiwor encouraged her audience to have faith and believe in God,” at God’s appointed time everything would fall in place. Hold on to your faith and believe everything would fall in place.”

The ‘Happy Bible Quiz’ is dedicated to the Christian community with churches in the country competing against each other for the bragging rights on who knows the word.
