The Executive Director of Salt and Light Ministries and former Minister of State in Ghana, Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee has disclosed that she moves in the direction the wind blows her, adding that wherever and whatever she finds herself doing, she gives it her best.
According to her, she is the least ambitious person and not one who will “say I want to be a doctor” and strictly chase that path.
She revealed in an interview on the ‘Myd Morning Show, Y Leaderboard Series’ on Y107.9FM that she has grown to see herself as a versatile individual and gives her best wherever she finds herself.
Dr. Aryee believes she has grown up to be versatile, fitting into all industries because of the training her sister and herself received from their mother. “My mother encouraged us to read; reading everything we could lay our hands on. From books to magazines, newspapers and the whatnots.”
Emphasizing the benefits of reading, she advised the youth to take advantage of all the resources available to them and engage in extensive reading. She added that there is nothing one cannot know from reading and with that knowledge, it makes it easier for one to fit into all industries.
“If you are an ardent reader, you will never lose opportunities wherever you find yourself,” she added.
