The former Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwesi Kyei has unleashed a scathing attack on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, condemning their manifesto as a woefully inadequate document that fails to present any meaningful initiatives to propel Ghana forward. In contrast, Kyei praised the NPP’s manifesto as a visionary blueprint for Ghana’s development.
Kyei asserted that Mahama is struggling to articulate compelling initiatives to win over voters, and has instead resorted to launching baseless attacks against Dr. Bawumia, who is focused on engaging Ghanaians with his policies. He criticized the NDC’s manifesto as lacking substance, citing the example of Nighclubs operating 24 hours as part of NDC’s proposed 24-hour economy, Kyei questioned the logic behind this policy, wondering how it would drive economic growth or improve the lives of Ghanaians.
He emphasized that Mahama and the NDC have nothing meaningful to offer Ghana, and urged voters to reject them in the December polls. He added that Ghanaians deserve better than a party that has run out of ideas and is resorting to desperate tactics to cling to power.
