The Dansoman court granted bail to Hopeson Adorye, a prominent member of the Movement for Change, with bail set at GH¢20,000 and two sureties.
The decision comes after Adorye’s arrest and court appearance on May 23, 2024.
Adorye was detained following his statements on an Accra-based radio station, now widely circulated, alleging dynamite explosions in the Volta Region during the 2016 General Elections.
Yaw Buaben Asamoa, a prominent figure in the Movement for Change, asserts that Hopeson Adorye’s arrest was politically driven.
