Veteran Ga-rap king Nii Addo Quaynor, best known in showbiz as Tinny has expressed his belief that the Hiplife is dead – advising budding artistes to desist from taking to that genre.
According to the ‘Makola Kwakwe’ crooner, the Hiplife genre has faded off from the music system hence it will be prudent for up and coming artiste to try and follow the trend – which he described as singing.
“Where is hip life? Oh hip life is now out of the system and if you do Hiplife today then you stand at your own risk to go hungry,” Tinny told DJ Advicer on Happy FM‘s Ayekoo after drive show.
“Hip life does not exist anymore, as I said it is out of the system.”
Tinny is currently promoting his new single track ‘Naomi’.
