The Police and the military have in a joint operation stationed at the Koforidua Senior High Technical School as to ensure security while the Electoral Commission re-collates the Suhum Parliamentary results.
Supporters of Both NPP and NDC and that of the incumbent MP who contested as an independent Candidate have gathered at the school’s entrance waiting for the commission to declare the results.
The presence of the military and the police prevented the crowd from invading the school premises.
Meanwhile, the Electoral commission has denied the media access to the school premises to cover the collation process.
The Electoral Commission postponed the declaration of Parliamentary results for the Suhum Constituency after supporters of the Parliamentary candidates stormed the collation centre compelling the EC officials to suspend the process.
