Hearts to relocate from Accra Sports Stadium- Supporters’ Chief hints

2019/20 GPL Match Report: Hearts beat Dwarfs 2-0

Hearts of Oak National Supporters, Chief Elvis Herman Hesse, has revealed to Happy Sports that the team may be compelled to move from the Accra Sports Stadium if their home games at the venue do not improve.

The Phobians have won just two games at home this season against Dwarfs and Bechem after 12 matches played in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

Hearts once again failed to beat Elmina Sharks at home last Sunday, which sparked protects and agitations among the fans after the game.

Elvis in an interview on Happy FM hinted the team might move from their traditional home to a new venue if the results don’t improve.

“I am pleading with the supporters to be patient with the club. We are working around the clock to ensure the club gets back on track. There are talks to relocate the club from the Accra Sports Stadium if that can help solve the problem, but for now there isn’t any alternative venue available”, he told Ohene-Bampoh Brenya on Happy FM.

He added that a meeting has been scheduled with the players to unravel the problem facing the club at the moment.

Hearts of Oak will play against Inter Allies in their next game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
