Hearts PRO appeals for fans attendance to be increased ahead of Super Clash

The Communications Director for Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, says the club is prepared to control the crowd should they get an increase in the number of attendance at the match venue on Sunday against Asante Kotoko.

Currently clubs have been allowed to admit 25 percent of fans at the venues with strict adherence to the COVID-19 rules.

As the biggest game of the season on the domestic front draws nearer, there have been talks for the attendance to be increased in order to accommodate more fans to watch the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to Kwame Opare Addo, the club has put measures in place to deal with the crowd if there is an increase in fan attendance from the initial 25 percent.

“If we get an increase attendance from the initial 25 percent we will be able to control the crowd”, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.

Opare Addo also spoke on some allegations by some clubs on referees favoring Hearts of Oak to win the Ghana Premier League.

“We don’t think it’s appropriate for some clubs to degrade the Ghana Premier League product. That is why we are fighting to protect the brand and help grow the brand. We will ensure that the stakeholders will not destroy the product that we are all trying to build”.
