Elvis Herman Hesse, the Chairman of the National Chapters Committee for Accra Hearts of Oak, expressed his confidence in the team’s preparation for their upcoming clash against Tano Bofoakwa.
In an interview with Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports, Hesse provided insight into the team’s mindset and their recent performance.
“Our boys are very poised for action,” Hesse stated firmly. “We are taking it match after match, and the supporters will also do their part to support the team.”
Hesse’s remarks come on the heels of Hearts of Oak’s impressive victory over Nsoatreman FC during matchday 2 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians showcased their dominance on home turf, securing a 1-0 triumph at the Accra Sports Stadium. This victory was attributed to Kashala Ramos Wanet’s remarkable strike, with the Congolese forward breaking the deadlock just four minutes into the game.
Reflecting on their success against Nsoatreman, Hesse commented, “Before we played Nsoatreman, they were also coming into the tie unbeaten and hungry, but we tamed them.”
Hearts will play away to Tano Bofoakwa on 30 September in their match day 3 fixture and will hope you amass their first 3 points on the road.
