Hearts of Oak fail to escape relegation after 0-0 draw against Great Olympics

Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics Will see their fate on the final match day of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season after a goalless drawn game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Both Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics were battling relegation ahead of the match day 33 fixture but both team shared the points after a 0-0 drawn game on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

In a game that was fairly dominated by Hearts of Oak, the Phobians couldn’t win the game as they were not able to create enough chances from their dominance.

Accra Hearts of Oak are now 14th on the Premier League table with 41 points while Great Olympics sit 16th on the table with 41 points.

Mathematically, Real Temale United and Bofoakwa Tano have both been relegated but one of Hearts of Oak, Olympics, Dreams FC or Karela United might join them to the Division One League depending on the final match day results.
