Management of Hearts of Oak has debunked reports in the media that the team is set to sign former AshantiGold coach, Svestislav Tenasijevic.

Reports went rife in the media that the Serbian coach will be taking over Hearts of Oak when the league resumes.

Communications Director for the club, Kwame Opare Addo in an interview on Ghana’s number one Sports Station, Happy FM has refuted those claims, indicating the team is looking to hire an assistant coach and head coach, Edward Nii Odoom still remains at post.

“Coach Edward Odoom remains the head coach of our club and we have communicated the news to our supporters”.

“Odoom has a contract with the club and we are looking for someone to assist him. We are not going to impose anyone on him”, he added.
