Happy98.9FM’s DJ Freshboy emerges Radio DJ of the Year at Young Radio and Television Personality Awards(YRTP)

Eclectic Disk Jockey, Michelle Arthur Bismark, popularly known in the entertainment industry as DJ Freshboy, has been adjudged Radio DJ of the Year at the 2023 edition of the Young Radio and Television Personality Awards held at the Legon Conference Theatre in Accra.

The YRTP Awards seek to celebrate media personalities and brands which inspire, entertain and shape society.

The award was in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the growth of the entertainment industry in Ghana.

DJ Freshboy, honoured for his achievement in the entertainment space was also acknowledged for his hard work and commitment to giving listeners an enjoyable experience.

The Happy98.9FM’s Weekend Drive DJ believes his inclusion in this year’s YRTP Awards is a result of his hard work and commended the organisers for awarding him.

In his acceptance speech after winning the award, DJ Freshboy acknowledged the Almighty God first in his journey and expressed gratitude to his family, friends, loved ones and staff who have constantly been supporting him since he joined the entertainment fraternity.

“I am very much grateful to the Almighty God for His blessings upon my life, and to Management, Staff and team members of HappyFM, I say a very big thank you for your support and constant e added.

Director of Broadcasting at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, Timothy Karikari in his congratulatory message to the DJ said, “DJ Fresh boy has cemented his name in the national DJing space and as he has been recognized as the best depicts him as a man without limits and it is no doubt he has achieved the best in his profession. I would also like to thank all who rallied their support behind him to reach this far.”
