Ghana’s number one radio station, Happy 98.9FM is set to hold the 2021 edition of the Salah Food Fest.
The event will see ten Zongo communities battle it out on the biggest cooking competition at the Fadama Taxi Station on Saturday, 24th July,2021.
Speaking ahead of the event, Director of Broadcasting at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), Timothy Karikari expressed: “Words cannot reveal how excited we are to host yet another cooking competition to climax the Eid ul Adhar celebration.
We expect the Muslim community to warmly welcome us. While this is our expectation, we are aware that COVID-19 is still here with us and as such the strictest adherence to the COVID preventive protocols will be ensured. Meanwhile, we urge all to follow the cooking competition virtually by logging on to Happy FM’s Facebook page”.
The Salah Food Fest organized by Happy FM is in collaboration with Fortune Rice, Frytol and Tasty Tom to celebrate the Eid ul Adhar mood.
