Happy98.9FM’s 2024 Salah food festival cooking competition at the Fadama Lorry Park in the Ayawaso municipality of the Greater Accra Region ended with a heartwarming gesture, as the station fed over 500 residents and children with delicious and healthy meals.
In a show of generosity, HappyFM treated the gathering to a feast, showcasing the rich culinary traditions and distinct flavours of the participating Zongo communities. This act of kindness was the highlight of the event, which featured 10 communities competing in a cooking competition.
The event was graced with music and performances from Rashid Metal, Kobby Shawn, and other talented artists, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with pleasant aromas from the cooking.
According to Kwabena Ampong, Program Manager for HappyFM, “We are happy to engage the community of Fadama and the youth there.
