In anticipation of the Happy Bible Quiz Finals scheduled for December 17, 2023, at the Mount Zion Methodist Church in Dome, contestants have been urged to put in their best efforts to secure victory.

The General Secretary, The Bible Society of Ghana (BSG), Very Rev. Dr. John Kwesi Addo Jnr, delivered a motivational message emphasizing the importance of hard work in achieving success.

The Happy Bible Quiz, organized by the Happy 98.9 FM, has reached its pinnacle with three finalists poised to compete for the coveted title. The ultimate prize awaits the winner, with Ghc20,000, worth of airtime with the runner-ups getting some range of amazing prizes.

In addition to the cash prizes, winners will also receive various goodies from program partners and sponsors.

Very Rev. Dr. John Kwesi Addo Jnr, in an exclusive interview with the Coordinator of the Happy Bible Quiz, Isaac Addae, extended his congratulations to all the finalists for their dedication to learning the word of God.

“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate all contestants who have made it to the finals of Happy Bible Quiz competition. I want to thank you all for availing yourselves in learning the word of God,” he said.

Drawing inspiration from the Bible, Reverend Addo emphasized the correlation between hard work and victory. “I know for a fact that he who works hard will be victorious. We will be there to support you all to victory. God bless you all”.

Highlighting the significance of the initiative, the General Secretary stressed that the program serves as a crucial avenue for instilling the word of God in young Christians. “The program will help instill in you the word of God; therefore, I encourage each and every one of you to work hard, and victory will be yours.”

Established in 1965, the BSG is a non-denominational and inter-denominational Christian organization aimed at making God’s Word accessible and affordable. The society has translated the Bible into nine major Ghanaian languages, with ongoing projects to cover more languages and revise existing editions.

The Happy Bible Quiz, a testament to the station’s commitment to encouraging the Christain faith to transform lives and has become a beacon for young Christians seeking to deepen their understanding of scripture.

The community is pulling together in support of the finalists as they prepare for the grand finale, excited to see a celebration of faith, hard work, and knowledge.
