GRA to auction forfeited goods and vehicles

As part of efforts to mop-up revenue before the end of the year and in accordance with Sections 93 (1) and 59 (2) of the Customs Act, 2015 (Act 891) which mandate the Commissioner-General to AUCTION OVERSTAYED GOODS AND FORFEITED VEHICLES,

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Customs Division will auction vehicles and general goods at the Tema Collection as part of efforts to mop-up revenue before the end of the year.

This is in accordance with Sections 93 (1) and 59 (2) of the Customs Act, 2015 (Act 891) which mandates the Commissioner-General to auction overstayed goods and forfeited vehicles.

A statement issued by the Commissioner-General said the auction will be on a CASH DOWN BASIS.

“GRA expects the cooperation and understanding of the public to ensure the success of this auction.” The statement said.

AUCTION OF OVERSTAYED GOODS AND VEHICLES

As part of efforts to mop-up revenue before the end of the year and in accordance with Sections 93 (1) and 59 (2) of the Customs Act, 2015 (Act 891) which mandate the Commissioner-General to AUCTION OVERSTAYED GOODS AND FORFEITED VEHICLES, the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Customs Division will auction vehicles and general goods at the Tema Collection as follows:

 

The auction will be on a CASH DOWN BASIS. The General public is respectfully invited to the auction.

GRA expects the cooperation and understanding of the public to ensure the success of this auction.
