Dreams FC coach Winfred Dormon is confident his side can kick start the season with a victory against Inter Allies in their opening game of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The two teams clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday 16 November 2020.
Speaking in an interview on Happy Sports with Ohene-Bampoe Brenya, Winfred Dormon disclosed how his team will approach the game against Inter Allies.
“We have observed their team. They share the same principles as us. Every team has it strengthens and weaknesses. We intend to attack and expose them at the back.”.
Dormon stated that the team has been strengthened by the signing of Joseph Esso and Abel Manomey as they will add more fire upfront in the upcoming season.
The two marquee signings joined the club in the just-ended transfer window.
“Everybody knows the quality of the two players but it depends on how the two will adapt and play together as a team. The technical team is keen on working on that. All department of the team has been improved from the defence to the attack. There has been the promotion of some players from the junior teams to the senior squad. I am always of the view that football is a team sport, not an individual sport. Now I can say the quality of the team is good”.
“As far as I am concerned, I am not under pressure. Our target is to do well in the Ghana Premier League not to win the title, or be relegated”, he added.
