Samuel Boadu’s Hearts of Oak have now recorded two consecutive wins for the first time this season and are gradually finding their rhythm after going four games without a win in their opening fixtures of the 2021-2022 Ghana Premier league.
The Phobians put two goals pass newly promoted Accra Lions to climb up to 12th position on the league table with nine points. A strikers goal from Kofi Kordzi and Daniel Afriyie in the second half of the encounter ensured Hearts grabbed all maximum three points.

Asante Kotoko return to winning ways in their game against Legon Cities after some sloppy results in their previous matches. Prosper Ogum Narteh’s charges ended up on the winning side with a narrow 2-1 victory over the Royals.
Rahman Abdul equalized for Maxwell Konadu’s side after Frank Thierry Mbella gave the Porcupines the lead in the first period of the match. However, the Cameroonian struck again in the 77th minute, his third goal of the league campaign, to hand Kotoko the win.
Emmanuel Gyamfi’s double and a goal from Sam Adams guided Aduana Stars to a 3-2 win over Berekum Chelsea, becoming the first side this season to record six consecutive wins of the season. They extend their lead top of the table with 20 points. Stephen Badu and Isaac Osei got the consolation goals for Berekum Chelsea.
Also at the Len Clay Stadium, AshantiGold were held by a 0-0 score line by Accra Great Olympics while David Abagna recorded his eighth goal of the season as Real Tamale United (RTU) beat bottom placed Elmina Sharks by 2 goals without a reply.
Eleven Wonders came from a goal down to steal maximum points against Bibiani Gold Stars at the Kpando Stadium. George Ampomsah cemented the lead for Eleven Wonders after Abass Ganiu canceled out Richard Amoah’s early lead for Bibiani.
Augustine Okrah’s second half lead for Bechem United against Karela United was not enough to seal three points as Darlington Fosu’s goals in the dying minute of the game clinched a point for Karela United.
WAFA recorded their second win of the season after their 1-0 narrow win against Medeama. Emmanuel Agyeman’s 90th minute goal lifted WAFA out of the red zone to 18th position.
